cover letter & Q&A

my name is Haley Addams, i am a 30 year old disabled queer trans man and this is my application for disability.
i haven’t been able to work consistently or stably my entire adult life due to my autism, but in 2022 my chronic pain, fatigue, and illness made it impossible for me to work any job at all.
i found this to be true this past year in 2025 when after spending much time with doctors and physical therapists, doing my best to recover my mobility and functional capacity, i tried to work part-time (20 hrs/ week) at a non profit. i was only able to work one month of my several month contract because of my disability. after giving my resignation, i then spent all summer stuck in bed from the proceeding flare up the job caused.
so i am now putting in my disability application, in hopes that i can find some independence and increase my quality of life.
thank you,
Haley Addams
